A VOR approach in the aircraft is flown on the published procedure, with the chart and with your instructor. IFR Suite does not fly it for you.
What a session can show is the picture. The course, the fix, and the path from the initial segment through the missed approach. When the procedure is built on a VOR, that navaid is a real one. Glass or round gauges. The instruments stay in English. The session panel follows the language you choose.
The same trainer is also a departure, the traffic pattern, a hold, an intercept, or a DME arc. On a hold, the entry is direct, teardrop, or parallel, chosen from your heading and from where you are relative to the inbound course. There are more than 9,800 airports and navaids.
The app does not copy a clearance, and it is not a source of charts. It does not grade the approach against the minimums. Time in the app is not flight time and not instrument time. It is not for a real flight.
Use a short session, then fly the procedure with your instructor.
